What Are Some Free Affiliate Marketing Programs that Actually Work?
Since I started making money online, people always ask me what are some free affiliate marketing programs that actually work?
There are several ways to make money as an affiliate marketer. In my experience, the free affiliate marketing programs that actually work are Clickbank, Dosh, and Motor Club of America. These are free to join affiliate marketing programs that I and many others have made money from. With that having been said, I will use this article to explain the origins, pros and cons of each program and how they actually work and how to join them if you wish to do so.
Clickbank Free Affiliate Marketing Program
Clickbank is an online retailer that allows digital and physical product creators (vendors) to place their products in their marketplace to sell. Clickbank has a free affiliate marketing program. Because of this, Clickbank allows their affiliate marketers to market those products online. Whenever someone makes a purchase after clicking on their affiliate link, the affiliate receives a commission. Some of the products on Clickbank payout as much as 75% in commissions. Depending on the product, some pay that plus recurring monthly commissions. In order to receive their commissions, affiliates have the option of being paid by check, direct deposit or even PayPal. As a result, this creates a lucrative business relationship between affiliates, Clickbank and the vendor.
Origins of Clickbank
ClickBank is an affiliate marketing program Founded in 1998 at Sandiego California by Tim and Eileen Barber. Their niche is of course, e-commerce. ClickBank is a very successful privately-held company that has been helping people make a living from the comforts of their homes for over 20 years. The company has more than six-million clients worldwide which secured it in becoming the 87th largest Internet retailer in North America.
Cons of the Clickbank Affiliate Marketing Program
I’d be very disingenuous if I said there were no cons that came with being a clickbank affiliate marketer. The good thing is there’s not many negatives at all. I’ll list them here. The only negative I’ve dealt with when it comes to Clickbank is the refund and chargeback. Allow me to explain. Whenever a customer requests a refund within the 30-60 day buyer’s remorse period, Clickbank issues the refund, no questions asked. Sometimes the refund is granted after you’ve already been paid a commission for the sale. Instead of debuting the money from your bank account, Clickbank deducts what they refunded the customer from your sales until they’ve been fully reimbursed. That means if Clickbank had to refund a customer $50, you now move owe Clickbank $50. So if your next sale pays out at a $100 commission, you’ll only be paid $50. That’s a fair deal. Wouldn’t you say so?
Pros of the Clickbank Affiliate Marketing Program
One of the many things I like about the Clickbank affiliate marketing program is that their marketplace has products for virtually every niche. It doesn’t matter if its sports, new ageism, personal finance, religion and spirituality, gambling, crypto-currency, software, etc. There are just too many product categories to list in this article. Either way, you’re sure to find a product to promote within your niche. I myself promote a little bit of everything. Another thing I like about the Clickbank affiliate marketing program is that they handle all the payments and refunds. This allows me as the affiliate to focus more of my time on marketing. I can honestly say I haven’t experienced many of the negatives that may come with being a Clickbank affiliate marketer. Clickbank is indeed a free affiliate marketing program that actually works.
Dosh Free Affiliate Marketing Program
Dosh is another free affiliate marketing program that actually works. Dosh is a cashback mobile app program that you can attach your credit/debit card to. Whenever you use that credit/debit card at participating stores, you get back a percentage of what you spent. Once you accumulate $25 in your Dosh account, you can have the funds transferred via Direct Deposit, PayPal and Venmo. That’s just one of the ways that Dosh pays you, and that isn’t even the affiliate marketing part. With the Dosh affiliate program, they provide you an affiliate link to promote their cashback program online. Whenever someone clicks the link and attaches their credit/debit card to the app, you get paid $5. You can realistically make hundreds of dollars a day promoting the Dosh cashback program. I myself have made a little over $400 with the free Dosh affiliate marketing program. I’ve probably saved $70 due to the cashback purchases I’ve made.
Origins of Dosh
Dosh was founded in 2016 by Ryan Wuerch. The purpose of creating Dosh was to “disrupt industries where money is wasted, or where middlemen take too big a cut, and puts the money back into the pockets of consumers and businesses alike using breakthrough technology.”
Cons of the Dosh Affiliate Program
The only negative there is with Dosh is that sometimes you don’t get your cashback after you’ve made a purchase at participating stores and online vendors. Then you have to contact Dosh and have them resolve the issue. Honestly, depending on the amount of the cashback bonus, it may or may not be worth your time. Other than that, when it comes to paying out affiliate commissions, Dosh is on point.
Pros of the Dosh Affiliate Program
What I like about Dosh is even after you stop promoting it as an affiliate, you can still get paid. You’ll always make money as long as your credit/debit card stays attached to the app. This is because their amazing cashback program. So even if you don’t want to promote it as an affiliate, you can always use it to save money on everyday purchases. If Dosh’s cashback and affiliate marketing programs sound good to you, you can sign up for dosh HERE.
Motor Club of America Affiliate Program
Much like AAA, Motor Club of America (MCA) is a roadside assistance company. They provide towing, refueling, hotel/motel discounts, legal assistance, medical insurance and much. They’re headquartered in Oklahoma. The difference between AAA and MCA is that MCA has a free affiliate marketing program that is very lucrative. They are known for having a 200% commission payout. Basically, when someone spends $40 you get paid $80 that next Payday. People have gotten very rich off of Motor Club of America. Of course, I’m not one of those people but, I’ve made some money with Motor Club of America. Motor Club of America is actually how I got into affiliate marketing.
Origins of Motor Club of America
Motor Club of America is a roadside assistance company that was founded in 1926 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. At first, their roadside assistance services were exclusively reserved for truckers. Due to competition such as AAA, MCA decided to open up their services to all of North America. That’s when Virgil Coffee created TVC Marketing in 1988. TVC Marketing is the free affiliate marketing program platform used by MCA affiliates to promote Motor Club of America. Virgil Coffee is also credited for creating marketing plans for successful multimillion-dollar companies, including Traveler’s Motor Club and Prepaid Legal Services.
Cons of the Motor Club of America Affiliate Program
What I don’t like about the MCA affiliate program is that you have to wait for the Friday payday. I’ve been involved with so many different affiliate marketing programs, I much prefer the ones that pay the same day. Another thing I don’t like about the Motor Club of America affiliate program is that you won’t receive your full commission if someone signs up with a prepaid debit card. Your commission gets pieced out to insure MCA hasn’t given you a 200% commission without benefitting from the sale. It makes sense considering Motor Club of America is giving you 200% of what the customer spending. They’re not making any money from the initial sale. Lastly, what I don’t like are the chargebacks. Chargebacks occur when customers cancel the service before MCA can recoup what they paid you initially. When chargebacks occur, MCA deducts from your new commissions until they recoup what they’ve paid you. Of course, that has never stopped me from promoting the product.
Pros of the Motor Club of America Affiliate Program
Outside the weekly 200% commission payouts, what I like about MCA is that you don’t have to be technically savvy. That means you don’t have to do any website building. This is because Motor Club of America provides you with your own fully functional website via TVC Marketing. The website educates your perspective customers on the different product packages and even takes their payments for you. Because of this, you don’t have to process payments and/or refunds. Though a plus, it doesn’t stop you from being able to process payments over the phone to lock in those sales. Another plus about MCA is their roadside assistance packages are very affordable. That way, you’re able to promote attractive service packages that won’t break the bank. Not only that but, by being an MCA affiliate you are able to create a team. That means that whenever one of your team members makes a sale, you also receive a commission. That type of payout will exponentially increase your affiliate commissions. Become an MCA affiliate today.
